Not a Homophobe

Long story made short: I made a stamp because I saw a couple of gays picking on straights saying that they were better than them so I said on the stamp that they aren't. What I was implying was that no one is better than anyone.
The minute I posted it people were yelling at me calling me a hater and saying how it hurt there feelings. It went on and on until finally I took down the stamp and re-worded it.

I just want to say that not everyone does this but some people need to calm down and figure things out without jumping to conclusions and accusing others about something they did not do.

To me it is sad how everyone seems to be being accused of being a homophobe now because accusing others is a fashion statement. Honestly, grow up! No one is a homophobe just because they disagree on something. I understand that a lot of people are still against gay marriage but that doesn't mean you can take your anger out on others. Its starting to sound like people are hating everyone now online especially straight people.

I also would like to point out that its not a big deal if someone is a homophobe as well as long as they are not hurting everyone, I may not agree with people hating gays but everyone has a right to feel whatever they want to feel as long as they are not hurting anyone else.

Please understand that I myself am not a homophobe but I just want to point it out because I am so sick and tired of that word being used a lot.

I would also want to point out that I was talking sarcastically on the stamp, I know that not everyone is like this and I also know that there are gays who are nice people (I have some friends who are gay and are kind), i'm just saying it feels like this word is used a lot.
